REDDICK LIBRARY MURAL

Throughout the summer of 2026, I joined five other artists in the Ottawa, Illinois community to create murals on the side of our local library. This process was brand new to me as I tackled taking a digital sketch and transferring it to a textured wall.

Now a permanent part of the community, it is my hope that the mural serves as a reminder to local youth that in an ever-changing (and at times frightening) world, books are steady and constant worlds that are simultaneously comforting and exciting. Books can and will take us anywhere and everywhere.
